Emily is an experienced teacher and has studied both of the most recognized techniques for harp.
Her approach is that a student should learn at a pace that is comfortable, but maintains that to keep interest in learning one must progress efficiently enough to inspire both student and teacher.
Trinity examinations are encouraged but not essential and all ages are welcome.
Emily teaches classical, folk and traditional styles as well as contemporary and jazz.
Students who are interested in improvisation and composition may explore these possibilities with the harp and may also create their own recording.
Harp lessons are charged out at $70 per hour or $35 per half hour.
